I have a CLC 220 59 plate. The manual says that there is an aux port in the glovebox, however this looks like a phone socket as opposed to a single pin earpiece/mic jack. Is that the socket or is there another somewhere else? Thanks

Hello and welcome,

The car may have been specified with the iPod interface kit - this replaces the 3.5mm Jack socket with a multi-pin connector.
If the relevant leads aren’t with the car you can get them from eBay. I have an IPod lead and a 3.5mm lead which I use for my DAB receiver.

Sounds like you have media interface which is good.
