I am going to ask, although I may get shot. purchased a dip-stick for the auto box on my w211, e270. when checking the level in the ox, the stick feels like it hits bottom, but have appx 6inches of stick left still, although it was specific for this model, year etc, is this the norm ?? thanks.

I take it you checked the oil level on the flat after a 20 Minuite drive with the engine running and in Park ?
