Is there anyway that the gearbox in my C220CDI SC would change itself to "c" mode?

Twice in the last week I've noticed it is in this mode and I've not changed it by pressing the button on the console myself.

Anyone else experienced this?

Nothing listed on this one, could it be that the car is getting sensitive, and feels that a little comfort would not go amiss for you.

I have had people in the car but not the sort of people that would press a button for the sake of it. I'll keep an eye on this.

Hi Mate,

I have got the same issue. My button(switch) S/C doesn't react at all but I can see an automatic change on the display. I have got sometimes C and in the other day S.

Is there anyone who had similar issue or can help?

But nothing to do with changing from S to C, all auto boxes the are electric controlled talk to the engine ECU, it is a very short term memory that just enables the box to respond quicker need the need to arises
