I cannot find the article online, but assuming that it refers to 19 new models. 19 more models surprises me because: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a...too-many-models-but-the-solution-is-a-bummer/

I also read an interview with MB CEO more recently discussing the same idea that they have too many models and should have had a more focused approach to fewer models.

audi and bmw seem to have gone model crazy so im not surprised Mercedes have followed suit

The C class is disappearing and being replaced by a new model between that and an E class but can’t think what they are going to call it. But everything you see on the tube now are electric models under the EQ banner.
