Aux Fans

i have noticed when looking back through the posts that when greg and koolvin were changing over their grills that , koolvins car has two aux fans at the front as does mine. Gregs does not even though he has air con and is the same model as i have.

Anyone know why this is ?

The older 202s have 1 fan between condenser and engine for engine heat and 2 smaller fans between condenser and grill as auxiliary fans when the car has airconditioning.
W202s without airconditioning do NOT have these auxiliary fans.
The small space between the airco condenser and the 2 auxiliary fans gets stuck with crap, filth and other crap which leads to leaking (coroded) airco condensers A LOT (at least in the Netherlands it does).
The later 202s got the 1 fan between the engine and condenser that does the same cooling goods as the previous 3 together...the later version is a lot better!
