AUX, USB not working

Got a C207, 2011 E class coupe.

Since I've had it, the USB, AUX and ipod have never worked. Opened the glove box and seems all wired up fine. When plugging in the USB the light doesnt flash up to suggest there's any power reading it.

Someone suggested selecting SOZ on the head unit on CD menu, but that doesnt show up either. Would it be a fuse issue or something else before I hand it into the garage? I've attached a video and few pics, any help would be appreciated.

it would help if u specify what system the car has, and what was updated and who updated it?

maybe its isn't connected to anything, the original Mercedes media boxes circa this age are readily on ebay and very affordable.

if the wires are there you could try looking for this

and or buying one and plugging it in.... or find specialist who knows there stuff

good place for any owner to start is to type chassis number here https://www.lastvin.com/ and see what the car had when it left the factory

Thanks for the reply. Just done the VIN check and nothing on there regarding the sound system. It's the basic standard audio kit (assuming) and headunit that doesnt have the Sat Nav.

As far as I know, it's not been updated updated. Here is another pic of the wires, i pulled out the pub unit where the wires go into and its just a longer lead, which seems to be plugged into something as I cant yank it too much.

Might be worth a software update on your system. My SLK was a be intermittent on iPod until I have it updated.

A decent Mercedes Independent garage is what you’ll need for the update. Took quite a few hours on mine - had it done when I had it serviced
