Auxiliary battery malfunction on my hybrid help needed.

Hi everyone ☺ after some info and would be grateful if someone could help. Mercedes eclass 300 hybrid showing auxiliary battery malfunction. Car working fine and a few items not working ie mirrors don't fold in when parking. Checked you tube and it seems an easy fix but I can't find the battery anywhere. Do can someone tell me where it is?

The auxillary battery relates to the stop start system in the non hybrid e and c. it is located under the front driver footwell in a uk car (passenger in lhd). have a look at the mb.org forums there are several threads inc photos of its replacement. mine went on my c and my friends c the one in the e has lasted longer‍

Found it under the boot cover with the main battery. Thanks. Just need to source a cheap one now.

I'm surprised it's a Lead Acid battery as since around 2014-15 most models have the Capacitor Pack in the passenger footwell as above, what Year is your car?

yes i thought they had been the capacitor ones for sometime it certainly was in my s205 c class. no sign of sny such battery in the boot of my s213 e class but it is a straight e220d. maybe they have changed it for some reason on the hybrid. might answer though why the e has had no problems up to now despite it standing around a lot for most of last year with the various lockdowns and restrictions on travel we had here in france.

Found it in the boot under the cover.

My 2018 e class 220d has the battery in the front engine compartment it is an estate is yours a saloon?

I found it in the boot under the carpet. Changed out today and now seems ok
