I am on a long term problem solving quest on my aircon for a 95 w124 with a 606 E300D engine.

Just got Stu Ritters 'E class owners bible so hurridly turned to the rather limited problem solving section on aircon . He describes a problem exactly as I have (too much hot air unless turned to full cold).

He says the problem could be over current to the aux coolent pump but mine is in mounted as part of the duo valve assmebly not where he describes is by the battery. He says Amps should be not more that 0.8A. Mine reads exactly 1.0A but pump feels like its working.

Can anyone confirm what their working Amperage is for an aux coolant pump mounted (like mine) as part of the Duo valve assembly (probably very late models 94/95)?

Any info welcome
Keith
