Avatars...grrrrr!!!

If I remember correctly, 25 posts are required before an Avatar can be displayed. Having now reached the magic number, I thought I had nothing simpler to do than upload my Avatar. No such luck...everytime I try it, It says 'invalid file' Can someone please tell me what this means? It's exactly the same Avatar as I was using before I changed my sign in name. Same size...nothing any diffrent.
Appreciate any advice here.

Just changed mine, kept making the picture smaller and it worked no problem. Only using paint on this laptop so have no idea on the pixel size, 100 by 100 pixels or 34.2KB is the Avatar limit.

It depends upon where you post, Benz Bin don't count.

I had a look to see if I could change the number of posts required for things, but I don't have the rights.

MercAl, can you still see your avatar under your old posts?

Try changing the name of the avatar incase there is a conflict with a duplicate name.

Silver, you avatar is showing up as 132x30 pixels, which is greater than the size limit.

I think you will find that no matter how many times you post to a particular thread,it still only counts as one .
