Avatars?

Hey

I noticed on some of the previous threads that people have been having problems with avatars, I got 30 posts, and I thought 25 was the amount you needed before you could display an avatar?

Slightly confused. Theres nothing on my control panel

I'm trying to get hold of Pascal to see what the problem is.

I think he has some Admin rights and may be able to shed some light on the problem.

Does anybody know where this '25' figure came from? I'm not sure this is correct.

It would be great to have an avatar , I feel slightly less important without my identity

Television told me that 25 posts were required. Can't see him being wrong.

It was Pascal that sorted mine out for me, but I really can't recall how many posts he said I had to have first

As a recent member I think I qualified for the Avatar option at around 30 posts, it definetly didn't come on at 25 and I noticed it was enabled soon after passing the 30 mark and this seemed to happen automaticaly.

Have you tried going to the User CP and uploading one yet? Would be interesting to see if you can manage something so many others don't seem able to

I get this when I try to send one to you...

I can't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to have an avatar. You have more posts and have been on the forum longer than Evo.

Nothing to do with format? Some forums don't allow bitmap and only jpg?
