Hi All,
How does one reset the B service twin spanners symbol in a C270 CDI (2003)?
I have done the procedure for resetting the mileage OK but the 2 spanners still remain.. (EG 13000 miles to next B service).
In short it needs to say 13000 to "A" service.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Firstly, lets assume the four buttons on the left hand side of the steering wheel are numbered left to right, clockwise as 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Now, insert your key and turn to position two.

Repeatedly press button 3 (below button 1) until both the display shows the total mileage and trip mileage page.

Repeatedly press button 1 until the service symbol and distance remaining until next service screen is displayed.

Press and hold the trip (or reset) button (next to the instrument cluster) for 3 seconds until the message "Do you want to reset the service interval? Confirm by pressing Reset button message is displayed.

Within 5 seconds press trip or rest button until the new service interval appears then release.

Good luck

Sorry...No Good

Hi all..
I tried Zebras suggestion but it faild to reset the "B" service two spanner symbol.
Yes it reset the miles to 13000 but I wanted the "B" service indicator to be reset so that the next one is my "A" service..
Any ideas ?

Thanks very much Malcolm..
Sorry for the late reply. Believe it or not I just got in from a night school course in astronomy..
It was bought as a birthday present some months ago..
I have printed out your instructions and shall give it a go tomorrow, and of course let you know the results.

Thank you so much for your efforts.

Hi Malcolm and once again thanks..
Unfortunately I was not able to reset the "B" service indicator.. Looks like it must be a STAR only facility.
I was not even able to specify which oil type (Though it is already correctly selected)..
Anyway, Thanks for all your efforts.
