There you go V6Matty, she has had some tlc today, wash and polish then I decided to try and repair the machine gun door lock on the drivers door, part success it now locks but looks like I got a keyfob problem, if you lock the car witht he dash buttons the keyfob will unlock it but not lock it, on further testing it Transmits thje infra red as suspected to unlock but is dead on locking, so suspect a broken micro switch or burned track, may try and repair it myself but as I only have the one key may have to give in and pay the experts to fix it.

Love my diesels my first ever eclass but have had 2 ML270 cdi in the past and love the 5 cylinder growl

Looks very good, it’s a lovely colour too.
That OM647 is lovely to run too, on a stage one it will happily run around 225 BHP and a boat load of torque which puts many larger engined cars to shame. And your right about that 5 cylinder engine note, very distinctive, I do miss my 270, while I love the 212 I have now that first car was the one that took my heart

She isn not a bad old motor, think the guy i got it from threw a wobbler when the warning lights lit up, but a new rear reluctor ring at the princly sum of £12.99 for a genuine Mercedes will soon sort it, someone has spent cash on her, new discs all round so just sorting the little niggles now and she is in slate grey so being a proud Welshman she is now in Welsh slate grey :):):)

Probably from llechwydd Mine, they have a museum there and that mad zip line but years ago they used to have an old re-created village on the site and you had to pay in old money, anyway the two girls serving in the pub were jabbering away in Welsh, I'm trying to talk to my then Mrs (Been Upgraded Now) and she tells me she has been listening to them and they had under charged a guy in front of us so was going to overcharge us to balance the till, they thought we was tourists so when my Mrs told them obviously in fluent Welsh this was not going to happen, their faces was a picture, but back to the slate, they used to have an old guy hand splitting the slate, and he made it look so easy but I could never do it.

We fancy Carmarthanshire but our house in North Wales is not for selling so the short list of 3 potential houses we liked the look of have all sold, its so gutting but can't be helped I suppose.
