Hi everyone, Does anyone know if i can just replace the 3 pointed star on the drivers air bag of a 2014 e class and also i have read to get command online a free of charge visit to a Mercedes dealer is required and they install the relevant hardware/software. Is this correct? Thanks for any help

Comand Online is a system in newer cars but you can get a free dongle from Mercedes which plugs into the OBD port and gives you basic information on a phone app. However, for a 2014 car it is very basic (things like mileage, fuel range) and generally thought to be just a gimmick and a complete waste of time.

The dongle business is mercedes Me. totally limited and provides nothing beyond what you get from the usual OBC dash outputs.
