m going to barcelona, any advice, places to visit or hotel suggestions?

take the hop-on, hop-off tour bus to see the amazing architecture + more inc gaudi's sagrada familia

go to a modern art museum off las ramblas and/or joan miro centre.

take the cablecar up to the castle

speak spanish

eat calamari

get the train to monserrat monastery if you have a spare day.

get a good hotel not a **** one near las ramblas

Hi i went last year, its quite hard to find nice places to eat! nobody eats till around 9 or 10 and its normally tapas bars.
Get yourself a good guide book, one note though if a kid comes and asks you to sign a 'petition' form dont fall for it because they'll then ask a small donation, note how they run like hell when an officer is sighted!
