The switch is located at the top of the pedal. It will clip or twist on - not sure but a quick glance at the new one should tell you all you need to know.
However, you say you had it replaced already. If so, its doubtful you'll ever need to attend to it again. Many of us have had them replaced at some point but its not a frequent thing. I had mine done in my 2000 E240 when it was 5 or so. ever heard from it again and not had to do it on my 211 at all.

Just fixed this on my ML270 cdi. Fault code was reading that the abs pump was faulty - looking at about £1000 so not ideal!
Try this: take a look in the relay box and see which relays control the ABS (there should be a sticker detailing which relay does what on the lid) find a similar relay - I swapped the rear washer relay with the ABS relay (exactly the same spec) and tried the rear washer to see if it still worked - it didnt. Then I put the washer relay in the place of the ABS and went for a drive. All the lights are now out and stamping on the brakes hard (check road behind is clear!) gave me full ABS capabilities again. Toaday in the wet i have also tested the traction control and ESP. Everything now fine - just need to buy a new washer relay - about £5 i recon!
I also replaced the brake switch too but got no result there.
