i have a battery drain on my s320 2001 if not used for 4/5 days will not start so after a Discussion on here I was recommended to buy one of these testers:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gunson-To...t=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item1e6e5d1e02

So I did and the only fuse I could find with a drain was F39 which is
folding door mirrors, door mirror indicators, passenger seat adjustment, passenger window, automatic dimming exterior mirror, adjustable mirror right and front passenger heating.
But the drain goes up and down all the time from 0.00A to 0.08A
Is this anought to drain and why it go up and down?
ive tried to put a video but cant work it out :-/

terible charging £15,, CPC take £5 but never mind aye.

Your fault looks like the door controller ECU and very common, you have the fuse for the other side to compare it to.

You leak between those figure is the way they go and yes it will drain your battery in a couple of days.

It goes up and down as the short is not there all the time, just make sure the car is sleeping when you check. That is if these fuses are in the boxes under the bonnet, leave it open and just lock the car,,go back and check in ½ hour and it should be reading 0.00

My 230 door ECU went down just like yours, and as before the most common form of leaks and battery drain

Sorry you said passenger side so passenger side you need and left one

To be safe pop up the number on the ECU that you have and I will check the number off for you.

If you want the info to take off the door card liner I can send that to you

I think the seat part might be the cause if the drain is still there, and from memory it was always the seat part that gave the most problems, the seat part is shown as an ECU as well
