Hi Forum..

I have done as suggested here and removed the leads to my heater booster but now my battery isn't charging.. Why might this be?

Are you sure you disconnected the lead from the heater and not from alternator?

I also have this problem.
How to disconnect the heater? And where can I find it?
Pictures?

Hi Bernt.....Welcome to the forum.

If you go back to Page 1 of this thread and read all the posts it is described exactly where the heater booster is and how to disconnect it.

Sorry, I have read all posts. But I miss some details.
I have removed all covers on the top of the engine, but I can't find this, and there is not very much space behind the engine.
Do I need to do this from under the car?

Copied from Post # 10. Best done from under the car.

Remove the starter motor, then you have access to the nut on the heater unit.........

The unit is under the inlet manifold..

Sorry again, i have missed the header.
Do you know if the heater cable is plugged? Or is it screwed? If it is plugged, I can try to unplug this.
Does anyone have a picture of this heater with the cable connection?

Hi people. I had the battery drain problem taken cable off. Now have fault code P1664-000. How do you stop this fault code? As has put car in to limp mode. Clear it goes straight back to it. Many thanks
