Hi there could anybody help with a explanation of what to do when you have a message in the display that says "electric consumors offline" does this mean one of the batteries is finished or is it something else?

211?normally if the car has sat around awhile? Means the car will take the power away from things that dont need to work until the battery voltage is higher. If it happens alot or all the time it could be a battery problem.

As above, and this is the reason,it normally clears after 10 min driving,,is your car a 211 E class

im not sure but i think 203's have the auto battery disconnect (sort of) thing to prevent the battery voltage going too low to start the car too. not sure if it displays on the dash though, hence why i asked what model the car is

OK the front battery on your car is the starter battery only and nothing else.

The battery in the boot is of the AGLM that is a Glass mat battery,, if the car has not been used for say one week,,it is possible that this is normal,,if it happens each day when you start the car,,something is not going to sleep,,the car will run the battery down to 11.75 volt, and then switch the consumers off.

So the time span of the car not being driven is the key here

OK when you turn of and lock the car,,go back and stand by the rear to see if the car makes any clicking sounds after 1 hour.

The AGM battery may be getting past its best. I charge mine one a month, to keep it topped up
