Battery sign in red stop

Hi folks, got this one up today! just for a change, have been told from the garage that it could be either the relay for the second battery thats not switching or the alternator! i have checked the charge and there is nothing coming from the alternator when engine running, showing only about 12v, so have ordered the relay, but think it could be the regulator diodes also, so ordering this too, only alternative is new alternator for thick end of £500, will keep you posted on out come, cheers Dave

My money is on the alternator reg, common as muck, you already cured the wiring rub through, be picking up that other thing for you today Dave!
