this question has probably been asked many times before, but i cant find the answer for my E270 cdi 2002. Battery flat, how do I open the boot/trunk?? Where is this mysterious terminal I need to connect to?

The metal blade in your remote fob should operate the boot lock, it may need to be sprayed with PTFE to get it to work. do you have a battery charger

Hi, I do have the key and the 'blade' but there is no key hole on the boot of my E270. :(

It's the saloon version.

I have read about attaching a battery onto terminals in the engine compartment, but I have no idea which ones. I cant see anything that looks like a +ve symbol anywhere.

You don't have a point under the bonnet if it's a saloon, are you sure you don't have a key slot next to the boot handle??? Never seen a 211 yet without one!!!

What a star! Thank you. I couldnt see the key slot as it was under the lip, next to the number plate light. But I found it now, and it worked! Thank you so much!! :)
