I hesitate to disagree with Malcolm but I would not touch Auto Glym with a barge pole. They use chalk in their polishes which is what they are and the paint does not need polishung it needs waxing. If the car is quite new you need to use a cleanser and then a wax preferably carnuba. There are loadsof them on the market. I use DT concours products, you can get them from www.dtconcours.com reasonably priced and very good results
Tend to agree with the above, auotglym is rubbish. I use Meguires NXT on my Obsidian Black R171 and it's the best you can get in the sensible price range. If you want to get some good advise check this forum out. PM me and I'll zap some pics across.

I would not call Autoglym rubbish. If you are polishing by hand and have mild swirl marks I would say it is about the best as it contains fillers to mask the swirls.
If your car is swirl free then that is a whole different ball game and a mild polish / glaze followed by a decent wax is the way to go.
As said above Autoglym SRP followed by EGP or the new one is still a great combo for the money.
