Are Pirelli P7 citurato (whatever there called) any good? Apparently there the tyre that came with the car when it was new!
Managed to get these for £110 each fully fitted!

Out of 1661 review they scored an impressive 4.6/5 stars. And they were/are an OEM for MB as well.

Save yourself £30 a corner and put the Uniroyal on or £23 and put the Goodyear Efficient Grip on

Falken ZIEX ZE914 EcoRun have been very good to me wet or dry, summer and winter.

At £75 a corner they were good value.

They have been superseded by the ZE310 and I'll be giving them a go when my fronts are due to be changed soon. £72 / corner.

Outside of the premium brands the 4 that are good value and offer decent performance are Uniroyal, Falken, Hankook and Vredestein.

Pirelli's tend to get noisy as the tread wears down which would be what put me off those.

Personally I have always found that I can get a local indie to supply and fit for the same as these online suppliers, or at least close enough to support them.

I have had Falken ZE914's on my E55 for the past 5+ years. A good all round tyre.
If I were buying new now I'd go for Goodyear Efficientgrip. They are on my wife's car and the grip in the wet is amazing.

I wouldn't touch any Pirelli tyre. OK when new but noisy and poor grip when down to 4mm or so.

I had 4 Falken fitted 3 years ago & the rears now need replacing after 20k.
Have the same size as you & will be replacing with same tyres as am happy with their performance.
Well priced too.

That time has come where i need a new front set of tyres, had apollo tyres on the front, they lasted well (just over 20k miles) but the handling on the was awful!
I was thinking of putting some Goodyear Efficient Grip performance's on they dont seem to be a bad price!
My budget is sort of £110 each maximum, so has anyone had any particularly good experiences which a tyre??
Went for Pirelli P7's as i got them for a really good price!
First impressions are really positive the car feels alot more stable and more comfortable. If these Pirelli's turn out to be terrible then the rear tyres (the next to be replaced) i shall go for somthing else!

Have Rainsport 3's on my E350 & SLK. Cant say I have pushed them to the limit, but they are very good in the wet.Plus a very good price.

So spending a few days with the Pirelli, there really very good, as people have mentioned above I don't think they are as quiet as other tyres, but the grip level and all round support of the car is quite a difference the car feels like it rolls way less! overall very happy with them especially for the price.

I have the same car as yours, I had put Micheline Primacy on it in 2016 and after driving 50,000 km, I went for Goodyear Efficient grip. I am happy with the purchase especially the grip on wet roads was better than Michellin.

Wait until they are half warn and then update us on the noise. Reports have been it is very noticable by that point, but they may have improved that by now so interested to hear if they are still as reported.

Just a minor update, front tyres have done around 5k miles, still very impressed with the grip they provide definitely worth the extra over the Apollo and Nexens.
Wet grip is fantastic, as for noise i cant hear any noise increases just yet.
Ive also gone for pirelli at the back now so i have 4 matching pirelli tyres!
Will update again when half worn!

I've got P Zero's on mine and despite the slightly higher noise levels they are excellent. As you say they offer ample grip and support The fronts have been on almost 2.1/2 years now and still have 5mm on them. The rears have been on a year and still have 7mm (According to the MOT). But bear in mind that I do only do 4-5,000 miles a year. But I will be staying with Pirelli that's for sure :)
