Hi all
my 72 350 sl had an engine change sometime during its life and a 116 3.5 V8 was used. The fuel injection system is very different with fuel headers over each bank of cylinders rather than a distibutor. I know the original pushed out approx 200BHP but does anyone know the output of the 116 3.5?
Regards
Mike

Hi again Andy
just replyed to your post on the previous topic and am a bit supprised as I got a spare engine with my car (supposed to be the original) which has a fuel distributor and I thought that this was correct for the car. This must be the KA as you said. Camshaft covers look a bit more modern too.
Regards
Mike
