BIG HELLO to all, newbie here, picking up sprinter van later today!

Just a quick hello, hope everyone is well. Purchased a 2008 sprinter 311 2.1 cdi yesterday, looking forward to hopefully sorting out the brakes and driving it home later on today. Carried out a lot of research prior to purchasing this van. I have read they are top notch vans, can do the graft, and eat up the miles with Sterling reliability. Looking forward to getting to grips with Mercedes-Benz engineering as never been lucky enough to own one yet .

Seeing your location of Spey Bay , reminds me of canoeing the River Spey in a Canadian years ago , I camped at a Big Hotel on a Golf course by the sea at the end of trip .

Thanks Wighty. Yip the river is still as popular as ever. One of the 5 top salmon fishing rivers in the world by all accounts, pity you need a second mortgage to fish it . It is the fastest flowing river in Scotland, very popular with canoeing trips. The big hotel has since been demolished mores to pity . But all is not lost we still have the malt whisky trail and the golf courses .
