Can I put a bigger turbo on my ML280? If yes, is it easily done?

Can't answer that but would mention that a bigger unit will make for much greater turbo lag and very little more top end power. You would need to be wringing its neck to notice any increase. Won't be nearly as nice to drive.
Of course, if you were to do lots of other mods, then it could be worthwhile.

Ian.

Just a remap would push it up to the newer 350 levels of output which would be my first port of call. After that then you would have to look at bigger turbo, injectors, exhaust change and another remap, but for that you’d probably be better off finding a 63

not with a variable vane turbo.

Should you go the hybrid route.
