Biodiesel Conversion

Hi all, I am considering buying a cheap mid 80s E class diesel and running it on biodiesel or diesel/ oil mix. Does anyone have any experience in this area? Is this viable? Is there much involved in conversion?

Why convert just pop it in the tank at 50% veg and 50% derv and away you go.

With the non CDI high pressure diesel engines they can be run on 'almost' anything, cooking oil, bio-diesel etc.
