Back somewhat on topic I was listening to the talking heads advising Bradford was proposing a Clean Air Zone.. They'll make money of those with VED... won't make a difference to the the "pool cars" though...
Taxi drivers will be putting up a stink as well... ;)

Also heard Nuclear-Castle is planning a clean air money making zone...:(

Dreaming of a CL55k - one day maybe....
They are all Land Rover - but different focus - made by the same company. The Discovery and NEW Defender are made in the same factory.

Mini is wholly owned by BMW, but run by a completely separate company.

Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda are similar, they also own Lanborghini, Bentley and others!

There is a lot of it going on now

Yep, and Bristol has just had their approved yesterday - different to the original diesel "ban" proposed. I wonder if the suggested "ban" was always to allow them to get the less controversial charge zone agreed as the "lesser of two evils"

Clean Air Zones are a thing all over Europe now (we have a French Crit'Air sticker for our car), it will come here too. We have decided that any replacement for our W212 will have to be EU6.

I confess I dont pay attention now as I know I'm ok, but if I ever need to buy another car for myself, I'll have to look into these much more carefully.

How would so.ething like a Vauxhall Ampara fare - is way before Euro6 but can be pure battery if desired?

The Ampera does list as ULEZ compliant for London, but probably only EU5.

Exactly - so will it meet the Bristol and B'ham requirements? All very confusing.
