 I have a big problem with my S320 CDI (51 reg). When I press the acceleration it has very low power and the acceleration is not going more than 2000rpm in drive mode and up to 3000rpm in neutral. Also, is coming a lot of black smoke from the exhaust.
Does anybody know what can be the problem?

Your Mercedes
S class
Also check the air filter is serviceable..there is an indicator on the side of the filter housing it should be in the white.. sticking EGR valve another possibility, it can be freed up, Just as a matter of interest ..no has mistakenly filled with petrol.. those are the less expensive things that can cause your problems..and buy the genuine MB MAF if needed

Xtractorfan, the air fiter has been replaced a couple of weeks ago... Regarding the EGR valve, maybe the best ideea is to go to an mechanic to check it...
What can be the most expensive things that can cause my problems? I replaced already the catalytic converter & the turbocharger.........:(
