Hello!

I'm going to change the coolant on my E220 W124 tomorrow.

How much coolant do I need and is there a procedure??

I've read fan switched to hot and wait until bubbles stop, fill coolant header tank to the brim initially.Do I wait until the fan kicks in etc??

Don't want to ruin the heating matrix! :D

Thanks!

Steve;)

There is nothing to bleed, leave the filler cap off, turn the heater to max heat, turn the engine on and wait as it gets warm, then keeps squeezing the top hose and when up to 80c squeeze the bottom one if you can reach it safely.

Any bubbles will stop and thats it replace the cap
