Hi, I purchased a 54 c class new shape with integrated phone and the cradle that came with it was not working so i though it might be faulty. I yesterday purchased a bluetooth cradle off a friend and connected it. I followed the instructions and put the instrument display cluster on the phone menu and it says no phone. I pressed the mercedes logo button on the cradle and the lights flash but the display does not change to anything and it does not detect my nokia 8800. There is obviously power going to the cradle as the lights are working on the unit so what could be the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just started using one of these in S class and found the set up a bit complex compared to other vehicles.
You have to pair the phone and there are different instructions for each vehicle series and depending which audio they have etc. I think your easiest way would be to get hold of the installation instructions which are included with the kit. The system works ok once set up but find 'phone choice restrictive. Hope this helps

i have an audio 20 system and have looked at the instructions for this. It states that once i press the blue mercedes button on the cradle the instrument cluster display should change from no phone to searching for phone and a bluetooth connection bar but i this is not the case with me and the light on the cradle flash as if searching for a phone but does not pick up anything.

no power to phone cradle Viano 2006 Ambiente CDI
I have a UHI cradle in my 2006 Viano CDI Ambiente but there doesn't seem to be any power going through it as my Viseeo MB-2 that I just purchased doesn't show any signs of life in the car. Works fine on my PC but my PC won't take me anywhere. Could it be a matter of reconnecting a umplugged socket under the dash or could it be something I have to give Merc. a lot of dosh toget fixed ??
it was a demo vehicle so one would expect everything to work or at least to be connected...
Any ideas anyone?
