Bluetooth issue w203 - command and armrest module

Hi all,

I can intermittently see my phone on command when searching for devices and enter a code but once entered on the phone it either doesn't connect or dies quickly before I can test a call. I have the armrest Bluetooth module. Is via command the correct way to connect?

I go srv, Bluetooth, click my device and enter any code then type the same on my phone.

I've tried a few other phones and it's the same

Any ideas? When I bought the car the owner had it working fine

You do not use the Bluetooth on the Comand in a W203. It is all done from the module in the armrest.
Which phone do you have and which module in the armrest?

I have the Samsung note 8, I'm not sure of the exact module but shows as UHI something. Its genuine mercedes.

I've found online instructions and now I know it's not on command hopefully they will help me! Will try when I can in a few hours
