Cheers Tony, not something I buy normally but I’ll grab this one ....
I had no idea you'd gone over to the dark side John! Your wife hates it, wonder how long it will last then
Forever Lyn, forever!!
She has deemed now to sit in it, so progress and we are taking it to Benz on the Green in May....
Hilarious how the data can be skewed..
on the way back from the gym tonight I ran out of battery charge- literally for 1/4 mile so petrol kicked in seamlessly..the result?
I reckon 90% of owners would believe that info showing on the screen John
I often run out of charge after the gym - but then that’s me, not the car
If you didn’t post about going to the gym would it have even happened
So at 3 miles per kWh which costs 13p approx the equivalent distance covered per gallon of petrol (@119p per litre) works out at 124mpg equivalent cost if my maths is right.
You mean that I went to a gym?
... ..... and back in the room
Spot on A...if we’re being pedantic my EDF rate is 13.7 which barely changes the result really. Can’t complain at that really. I used a bit of petrol on Saturday too taking my son to Jodrell Bank ( well dropped him off and had a bit of fun in the way back)
Really need a “miles per tonne” of coal as well as mpg
It looks a stunning car John, I'd never heard of it before and the only electric BMW I've seen on the road is that i3, so I thought it was something like that. Well how wrong I was, it's just beautiful. Can't understand why your wife doesn't like it
You and me both Lyn!
Says she doesn’t like beemers and hates blue cars...what could have gone wrong?
She has taste
Apart from marrying me you mean ?
There’s always one exception that proves the rule
Well it’s not as quick as a McLaren 675LT as I now know...(think I’d guessed anyway)
Lovely black one wafted past me on the M62 today as I was heading back from Wetherby...
to be fair , I did spend 200k less buying the i8
Seems they get parked everywhere.....Schipol plaza
