Been waiting now some 10 weeks for a new passenger door for my C class 300d cabriolet, still no sign and have been told could be months yet . What a shambles.to make matters worse my local Mercedes dealer who I bought the car off keep inviting me to the dealership events to flog me another Mercedes—They must be joking

Yes, it must be preferable to repair the old one, while you wait for the new one, even if it has a ding in it. If humans made it, it can be repaired.
