Bonnet Confusion

Hi, I’m looking fro a bonnet for my wife’s C180 coupe that’s she had a mishap in. I have found a bonnet off a W203, but our car is a WDB203. Can anybody tell me if they are the same?

Malcom I’m afraid they aren’t the same. The bonnet grill intrusion are different lengths therefore will not match up with the bumper grill surround.

The face lift is different there is only the 2038800157 for the first and 2308800257 for the face lift sorry I should have warned you on this

W203 means wagon, german for saloon, pronounced vagen.

WDB means wagon, Daimler Benz

i thought a saloon was a sedan, and a wagon an estate, hence why i was always baffled why the saloons had w prefixes and the estates had s prefixes ie w210 = e class saloon, s210 = e class estate.

or is it just me thats baffled by this?
