seems to be working ok if the rubber is removed from the metal door card, not sure if the rubber was jamming the rod going up and down, so i,m leaving the door card off and going out and operating it randomly:confused:

There is a rubber grommet where the rod passes through, this can be too tigh causing the problem

If you can, might be a time saver. This time of year and temp, cracking wires/insulation, plugs etc etc are all a possibility.

Hi there I have the bouncing central locking problem on passenger door on my w203 C220cdi se auto coupe. I have boughty complete door locking mechanism from salvage yard and am ready to fit.
happy to remove door panel etc but it seems from this thread that there is a bit more to it than that.
Any advice documents instructions would be gratefully received.
Also from reading this not sure I have right part?

Hi television I do not seem to have received anything in my inbox or spam?
I had a go myself last weekend and found that i could not get the lock assembly out, I am guessing that I have to drill the rivets out and remove the supprt bar inside the door frame? but chickened out for reassurance from your post?

What is start of your address which I need to look for so I do not accidently remove under spam.

sorry to be a nuisance
Ade w
