The same thing happened about 1-2 years ago after I changed the battery. Brought the car to Mercedes and they said that the ABS module needs to be replaced, I read on the forums in that time that the issue might have been replacing the battery so I had them to clear the codes and since then never had any issues Until now

If it only does it when the car has sat for a while, but not if its run and then restarted, its possibly the battery.
Otherwise you'd best get the codes read, it may be a sensor, but which one?

The car has not been sitting at all
The battery is in good condition so I’ll check the abs sensors and hopefully that’s what’s going on

I had the same fault on my 2011 C220 about a month ago.
On mine it was a faulty front wheel speed sensor.

You will need an OBD reader that can see the speed of each wheel. I found that my icarsoft i980 would not read the values. It worked fine on my E220 and would show the wheel speeds correctly. With a bit of research I found that there is a problem on the i980 reading wheel speeds on the facelift W204 C Class from 2011 to 2014.
I bought the latest icarsoft MB V2 and that could read the wheel speeds correctly.

That identified that the nearside front wheel just read zero speed while all the other wheels showed identical speeds.
I bought an MB sensor, fitted it and the problem was resolved.

I definitely will try that. Thank you
