Hi guys

have noticed a judder whilst braking with moderate pressure and higher. It feels as if tyres are going over cats eyes.

If I brake gently this is not a problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If your not mistaking a judder for your ABS, then sounds like you have warped disks.

I would agree with Ian Mac Warped disc syndrome described.

Could be, also check suspension joints, if the discs are worn i would change them, if they don't look too bad they may have an uneven distribution of pad material due to standing for a long time, you may be able to cure this by carrying out a brake disc bedding in procedure, this involves accellerating to 60 and braking hard to around 5mph do this ten times one after the other, making sure you never actually come to a stop, this is a good procedure for bedding in new discs also, but done with old pads, new pads are then fitted and bedded in in the normal gentle way.
