Looking at Part No.: 106220058 at ECP.

It says Rear right or front right, which didn't make sense to me, am I right in assuming, that these sensors are not side specific, hence if I buy two of the above, they will fit both front wheels?

Or is the sensor only fitted to the front right ? And no sensor on nearside?
Thanks

Never seen a side specific one yet, they are all the same, normally go on one pad on one side. So that sensor which fits in the offside outter pad, turn it around it will still fit in the nearside outter pad.

On my W208 and W209 the wiring was bolted to the offside front and rear calliper, one sensor for each outer pad on the side.

I have vastly different pads front and back though because of the type if braking system I have, so my wear sensors differ from front to back, but on most set ups they are the same.

I do have a chart that may be small enough to post up showing where all the sensors are on our cars. :D

W211 has two staged front sensors (if I recal right), another side alerts at half way, another when fully worn pads. I don't know are the sensors different, or just installed differently.

When I had the front discs and pads done on my 2001 S203, I bought the parts from MB Manchester, they looked up the VIN and said I only had wear sensors on one side of the car - but when the local garage was fitting them, they found sensors both sides. As I'd only purchased one new one, they were able to salvage the better of the 2 used ones they took off - and 3 years later, when I sold the car, those discs, pads and sensors were still on the car!
