Hello today i was checking the condition of my disks and pads and noticed something odd. On the front calipers i noticed a cable like a brake cable of a push bike it came from oneside of the caliper over to the other what is it?:confused:

that is your ABS sensor wire, it picks up the signal from the bearing.

Is it easy to do front pads on my car as they are desperatley low and thanks for that info is it ment to be slack. its not streched across it has slack.

Yes the pads are very easy to change,they are just standard calipers.

The other cable is meant to be lose, it is an electric wire, that is armoured to protect it

Did the brakes today peice of cake stuck some mintex pads on the front aint nnoticed any difference mind you but at least they have some meat on them.

They will take about 3 weeks to properly bed in. Take it easy until they have the normal 'real bite'.
