Hi All

Should I be worried?

M25 today doing 75 indicated on speeedo when an Artic decides to swerve from nearside lane to offside lane right in front of me. Thankfully he missed everyone, but I braked very hard to a standstill. (Thank god for great brakes). Then I found I had no drive, throttle to the floor going nowhere!! Dropped the revs down, slipped selector into neutral, then back to drive and normal service was resumed....

55k on the clock 2003 C270 cdi AG auto estate.

Your advice would be most welcome
Thanks

It could be just the fluid being displaced under the heavy braking.

As the chances are that the fluid has never been changed,,,find a good indie to change it along with the filter

Thanks Malcom!
I don't think the fluid has been changed since new, so will get that sorted at the next service.

Many dealers say that it does not have to be changed,, the rules changed 12 months ago and it does

English born and bred! Wife is Norwegian though. Ordered this tall blue eyed blonde from the catalogue and got a 5ft dark haired one. Hadn't got the heart to send her back!

Like you I expected my Swedish missus to be blonde and blue, but she is brown and green! She's too tall to argue with though.........;)
