Has anyone experienced a broken camshaft on a 1994 S320. I seem to be having a bad month with cars this month. After fixing one problem, the dealership took my car out for a test drive and one of the camshafts broke (shearing about 2 inches from one of the bearings)! All rather unfortunate...
It looks as though the bearing might have seized thus causing the camshaft to be twisted and hence to shear. What can cause this bearing to seize?
