Broken Cruise Control Stalk W124

Hi,

I accidentally broke the cruise control stalk on my W124 coupe, the stalk itself is fine but a bit floppy as the switch is broken and will not engage, is this easily replaced? I had a good look but I cant see how you access it, do you have to remove the wheel?? Help Please!!

You will need to remove the steering wheel - then you will be able to unscrew the stalk from the steering column, wiring is under the drivers side of the dash. Depeding on wether you have an airbag, you will either need to prise out the badge on the middle of the steering wheel or remove the airbag using a torx bit in the back of the steering wheel.
