A friend has a 2003 E240 \w211 with a broken Nokia phone 63 10i, the phone on/off switch is broken beyond repair, any advice on what to replace with so that it will match the installed kit.

99% are private I think, but some firms sell them on,,it was a much loved phone. Many little back street phone shops repair them, they also do up dates but we had a post last week saying that the shops cannot update them any more.
I cant verify that until I call into the shop that does all my work

Problem solved, there was a rubber bung on the back of the phone, when I looked at the phone kit I realised that the bung has to be removed so as the unit can dock with the phone kit.

Phone now works ok in car but not as a mobile unit but he is happy with that, all a case of not reading the manual.
