I’ve seen that exact issue on a few diesel w203 in my time. You can buy some repair bits from Merc, but your best bet is to find a breaker and snip off the plug and six inches of cable. Cut, solder and heat shrink in to your existing loom.

It’s a 2011 c class 220cdi it’s the boost pressure sensor faulty that’s the code that’s come up on the scanner and as you can see the wires are broke right by the plug car is driving ok but just no boost and eml light is on

Doesn’t seem to be a lemon, if that’s the only problem on an 11 year old car. If you’re not handy with spanner’s (I’m certainly not) then it’s a simple job for an auto electrician or good indie to do.

At least you have found the problem, just the simple job of getting it repaired.
As already said, an easy job for someone who knows how, good suggestion from Jobsworth above..

Q: What is yellow and goes beep beep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeep?

A: A lemon with a broken horn.

I would not assume a lemon just because of a one poor connection. Seems like a harsh judgement to me, give it some TLC and hugs.

This isn’t the only problem he’s had with the car since he bought it just a few weeks ago, just another thing in the list of problems he’s had unfortunately.
I’d agree it’s not a lemon but he has been rather unlucky in having to fix issues that should have been sorted prior to sale

First and foremost I genuinely sympathise with your situation...but Naraic spotted the same thing I did which was your use of the word "brought" as the past tense of buy.
I have noticed this many times over the years on internet forums and I have come to believe that it is a regional thing with some people intentionally using the word brought instead of bought as the past tense of buy.

All credit to you though for saying "Tesco" and not Tescos, because the latter is incorrect and UK wide. :p

Yes I do have a mild form of selective OCD. :geek:
