Thank you for that...................bugger is no self levelling suspension so i hope the 'sports' suspension will be ok with it.
Strange that the 18" amg wheels are no longer on the car, but then i think it would have made it very harsh

The 'sports' suspension is standard with any wheels over 16". Still gives a good ride with 17" wheels. Not sure if 18" are going too far.
SBC is fine - works well. Downside is the occasional noise as it recharges - not so much an issue on a diesel but I could imagine fit be irritating on a quiet petrol engine.
The other issue is that the pump wears out. Once the counter exceeds a certain point, MB will (normally) replace the pump FOC.

Ahh the pump will be the noise i heard. Very faint but i did wonder what it was
