Is there any difference between the om642 280 and 320 except power and torque?

Exactly the same engine, but the 280 is detuned. Having said that, when I engage kick-down, it's like the space shuttle taking off...

The injectors are different iirc, but they can be remapped very similar.

The later 350 with the blue efficiency injectors has more injections per combustion event, and are noticeably more fuel efficient. The trade off is a slight hesitancy when pulling from rest. You’ll need to be in a w212 for one of those though.

so with an engine tune, it will be excactly the same? Cuz when I’m looking at a tuners website, both the 280 and 320 will get 260hp and 600nm

I have 212 E350CDI with the 642 engine over the year I get 48MPG, but I do very little town driving.
In the summer I tour Europe I then see 52-54 mpg on long runs.
