I forget that I have an in box thank goodness,,, you will find a genuine car,,,remember that marks in the inside are very expensive to put right, do check that everything works, I am sure when you have narrowed your search down there could be an indie that would look over it.

"the car had a complete bare shell re-spray by mercedes in 2010 as it had a spot of rust on the rear wheel arch so under warranty the whole car was re-sprayed, is this a lie or a slight exaggeration as why would they do the whole care back to the shell?"

If it has had this work done then it will be documented with Eskulab but I doubt it.

"Eskulab is a german abbreviation for elektronische kulanzabfrage.
which stands for 'electonic fair-trading queries" C&P

need some help

on my w124 coupe i can get my chair all the way in once the doors is open fully, ive just had a mate bring his CL500 to my house and the doors look fully open but the angel is much MUCH less than than both of my w124's!

i can just about get level with the back of the seat let alone the front

is there some catch or some such thing to open it more as its very very narrow

im sure you are thinking i did not open it fully but we did

i know the w124 bonnet opens half the way then you hold in the 2 buttons and it goes all the way up to 90 degrees

ill be gutted if i cant as the car is stunning, dark met purple, black leather with dark brown wood, stainless exhaust and 97,000 miles with a full respray by merc in germany 3 years ago (might have been 2) for £5,500

The CL has a cantilever door hinge action, I thought that they opened quite wide, there is nothing to let them open further
