Buying a used MB C300

Hi Folks,

Can you share you thoughts about how would you check a used MB before you buy it?

I'm planning to buy a used MB C300 Sport 4matic. Dealer provides a very short warranty for it. It also turns out that a car has a damage record - it hits a deer.

So, with all this knowledge, how can i check this car, before buying, to make sure it's in a good condition?

If you are unsure yourself, then best to ask an independent Mercedes engineer to take a look. It should be someone that knows Mercedes, and not a general garage.
