I should say I plan to jump in with both feet this weekend so your fast responses have been brilliant.

My advice - do not 'jump in' until you've seen, sat in, and driven at least half a dozen examples. That way you'll get to see different trim and accessory options, and get a better feel for any nuances in handling

Regbuser - I have put a deposit in on the 350 CDI sport/amg. We took a test drive in an identical model at the weekend and loved it. The garage is London and we are North, so I am booked to go see it Friday.

I'm 6'2 had no problems in the front, I couldnt sit up straight in the back but with a car like this I'm sure I can find newer smaller ones.

going going to look at a 64 plate pre facelift cls SB on Thursday - its a 250 amg sport in black...
what should I look for ? not sure about colour though !
