Buzzing noise

I have just bought an A class 160 Avantgarde Auto. It has 04 plate.
When I put it into Drive or Reverse gear: I get a buzzing noise that is continuous (even when driven). In Park mode this noise is not there. Can anyone advise as to what it can be.

Dont worry they all make a buzzing when selecting gear, ive never seen one fail because if it.

Thanks for the reply.....the buzzing nosie there when the the car is driven...when in traffic I pull my window down, I can hear it...seems strange n worrying... should it not go off once a gear is selected (Reverse / Drive) and the car moves ??

I also note that when I put the A/c or heater full, the cabin light comes on...when I reduce it 1 level, its goes off. Why shoudl that be ....wiring problems?
